침대는 가구가 아니야

I heard/saw this sentence in a commercial:

침대는 가구가 아니야
A bed isn't just furniture

침대 is the subject of the sentence, so I wondered why 가구 had the particle -가 attached. Is it acting as a subject marker too? That seems weird.

I thought maybe it was implying "just" or "not just".

But I looked further and found this structure: -가 아니다 but I think it is only used when quoting something.

뭐예요?

    Here is the pattern.

    A is B ☞ A 는 B이다 (A=B)
    A is not B ☞ A는 B가 아니다 (A≠B)

As you can see, the negation of the copula verb "-이다" is "-이/가 아니다"

    \^o^/
