Has anybody of you guys tried to learn German using the program "Rosetta stone"?
Please tell me how good this program is for learning German!

I've tried it with french way back in the day when I started learning it and I wouldn't recommend RS, simply for the fact that it doesn't teach you how to speak.In my opinion RS is good for building vocabulary but don't expect that it's gonna help you to conversate.If you want a program that is gonna help you do that I would recommend Pimsleur.
So once again to make myself clear: I' m not saying that I think RS is useless cause I don't, but if learning to actually engage in a conversation asap is your goal then RS isn't the way to go imo cause
it won't help you do that.It is good for building vocabulary however and it is as you mentioned quite expensive.
