I'd like to ask about "number agreement". Are these ok? How different? Why?

"What type of parent would want their student to be a dropout?
"Just because the student is an education major does not mean they will be a teacher"
"Spider monkeys use a very long tail as their fifth limb(s).
"Have you ever met an involved parent who doesn’t want their student to be a leader?"

The sentences contain several examples where the pronouns do not agree in number with the antecedents. I would write them as follows.
"What type of parents would want their students to be dropouts?
"Just because students are education majors does not mean they will be teachers"
"Spider monkeys use very long tails as their fifth limbs.
"Have you ever met involved parents who don’t want their students to be leaders?"
