Can you tell me the difference, please?

I wish I could edit the previous message, it bothers me a lot to see that I missed typing something when I know* I would have spoken correctly.

I wish I could edit the previous message, it bothers me a lot to see that I missed typing something when I knew* I would have spoken correctly.

I think the former is correct.
The latter is totally wrong?.. maybe?

Thank you.

Actually, they are both wrong for a reason unrelated to your question. In both examples, you are joining two independent clauses with only a comma. You must use a coordinating conjunction after the comma -- for/because, and, nor, but, or, yet, so. (Think "FANBOYS" as a memory aid for those words.)

    My suggested version:
I wish I could edit the previous message, because it bothers me a lot to see that I mistyped something when I know I would have spoken it correctly.

I agree with Mojave's edits of 'mistyped' and 'spoken it'.
I think you could use 'knew' if you changed the other verbs in the sentence to past tense. Your sentence now can be taken as a hypothetical statement of how you feel when you mistype a chat message, not necessarily referring to a specific incident.

    But this sentence ...
"I wished I could have edited the previous message, because it bothered me a lot to see that I mistyped something when I knew I would have spoken it correctly."
... is a description of how you 'knew' it at the time you made the mistake.

You could say "knew" but since you still "know" this to be true, there is no reason to put it in the past. Does that make sense?

Also, I would say "mistyped" instead of "missed typing". And one more minor change: "... I would have spoken it correctly."
