That creeps me out !?

Hi....

In which situation this phrase is used?

Is it interchangeable with (that scares me) or does it have another way of usage?

& could you tell me what (creepy) means with examples?

Thank you....

Hmm, I've just read Peachey's answer and I think maybe there are three different expressions.

"That scares me." I think you understand this. Anything that makes you feel fear.
"That's creepy." Anything that's "icky," like spiders, snakes, etc.

"That creeps me out" is definitely not interchangeable with "that scares me" and not always interchangeable with "creepy." Here's a typical example. If a man stares at a woman for too long, the woman will think, "That creeps me out." Maybe this doesn't happen in the UAE but you probably know what I mean.

If you google "* creeps me out" (in the quotes " " and including the *) you can see lots of other examples of things that creep people out. A lot of them have to do with strangers looking at them and winking at them.

    Hope that helps.

OK. Have a look at this...

...and if you get a horrible goose-pimple feeling from looking at it, then you are creeped out.

"Creepy" is pretty much anything which gives you that feeling.
