can we write 아저시 instead of 아저씨?

Why not? Same pronounciation, isnt it?

    Nope! When writen, It has to be "아저씨(ssi)", but the good news is some Koreans pronounce 'ㅆ' as 'ㅅ'.

    e.g.
    쌀 ☞ 살
    싸서 ☞ 사서

    \^o^/

    the word is 아저씨 which was made originally from the first ^^;
    it's not about pronunciation. it could be a little confusing but...^^;
