Laurens Molina is a really champion; he was born in San Jose Costa Rica. Do to a congenital disease doctors have to amputate both of his legs when he was just a baby.
He never gave up, and walked for ages with his heavy prosthesis, after several years he had to stopped using his prosthesis do to a problem on one of his legs and had to started using a wheeling chair, then he looked some people playing basketball on wheeling chairs, so he decided to started to play and then he began on the speedway. He signed to his first race and he never stop, in Costa Rica then internationally.
In 2000 he was able to go to a race in Spain, there supported by strangers he won the first place over 500 competitors, there he knew there is not limits for him to keep his dreams.
After that he prepared to go to the Olympics, he didn´t win medals, but he was chose between five thousand disabled competitors by Hanger´s Company to receive a gift, a mechanical legs.
Since that time, he has competed in over 100 marathons and he has won a lot of medals. He still works with his parents and he gives talks to overcome.
