When to use "ing" in Spanish

When do I use words that end in "-ing" in Spanish. In English, I would say "I am going to the store" or "I am drinking water." But in Spanish, I would say "Voy a la tienda" or "Bebo agua." When would I use something like "Bebando"?

We use the ING (endings ENDO and ANDO) in Spanish for actions that are happening at the moment of speaking, e.g: I'm answerING your question at this moment. In Spanish it would be: Yo estoy respondiENDO tu pregunta en este momento.
    You can have:
English: I play soccer everyday (Simple Present).
Spanish: Yo juego al fútbol todos los días.
There you have the infinitive form of the verb...
    And you can also have:
English: I'm playing soccer now (Present Cont).
Spanish: Yo estoy jugANDO al fútbol ahora.
    There you have the verb+ING...
And you can also use it with Present Perfect Cont to refer to an action that is still going on...
E.g: You have been waitING here for two hours.
Vos has estado esperANDO aquí por dos horas.
You have waited for two hours but you are still waiting so the action is still going on.
Let me know if my explanation was not good and you still have doubts about it...

We use "iendo", for actions that still continue.

    For example:

    Estoy bebiendo/comiendo/saltando/jugando....
