When can i use the word"Indeed"?

You can use it any place you would use 'certainly' or 'without a doubt' or any place where you want to add emphasis.
"He won the race? That is indeed good news!"
"He is a good student indeed! He got all A's."
You can use it to indicate mild surprise.
"Charlie is quitting and starting a farm."
"Indeed. I had no idea he was so dissatisfied."
One note: 'Indeed' is somewhat old and you will seldom here it in spoken conversation any more. It does still appear in written English.
