Children who are afflicted with serious health problems have almost doubled because of lack of mobility and inactivity in their lives.


I wonder whether or not I use ''mobility'' and ''afflicted with'' in the sentence above.

    Yes, looks like it's correct to me. However, '...lack of mobility and inactivity...' sounds conflicting. Maybe change it to "because of immobility and inactivity..." or "...lack of activity/exercise...".
    Children who are afflicted with serious health problems have almost doubled, because of lacking mobility and inactivity in their lives.
