what is '공부학원'? is it simply a college/school or..?

i know 학원 is college/school but adding 공부 (study?) confused me a bit. like maybe it means academic-related school, not an art school, something like that?

I think college/school could be translated more of 학교.
and academy/institute for 학원
I don't even know what 공부학원 is though. ^^
