To reject is to not accept something. You can reject a gift, or reject an idea.
To forbid (note: no 'e'!) is to tell others not to do something. Obviously only someone in authority can forbid things - such as parents forbidding their children from drinking, or employers forbidding their staff from smoking on the premises.
To refuse is to not do something that somebody suggests you do. You can refuse to kiss someone, you can refuse to speak.
Infinite is a general term for things infinitely large, infinite numbers. Eternal refers specifically to time - it means for all time.
Plentiful and abundant are pretty much the same.
A ratio is a comparison between two numbers. 1:1 or 1:2 or 10:1 - e.g. 1:1 boys to girls at a dance. 10ml of petrol to 1ml of oil. A percentage is the ratio compared to 100. So 1 percent (1%) is 1 part in 100. 10 percent of 20 yuan is 2 yuan. ( 10/100*20)
