"~to" means supposition with verbs.
watashiga kono ringowo taberuto shimasu→suppose i eat this apple
anataga ima tomodachito iruto shimasu→suppose you are with your friend now
this can be also used with the passed form verbs and the progressive form, like this;
karega kono kabinwo kowashitato shimasu→suppose he broke this flowervase
kanojoga ima gohanwo tabeteiruto shimasu→suppose she is having her meal now.
