In what context? Can you give me the sentence you are having trouble with? I can try now though:
To make a 2 coconut salad we need
    1coconut + 1 coconut = 2 coconuts

Anything less than 2 coconuts and it will not work
    what about 1 coconut?
No that is less than 2.
    What about 1.5?
No that is still less than 2.
What about 1.9, that is so close it's almost 2.

No, no, no ANY less than 2, and it will not work.

You will also hear people say "No less"

Like Sidney Crosby scored "no less" than 50 goals. A fancy way of saying he scored 50 goals, for sure, exactly.

But its meant to ensure accuracy in measuring and counting.

"How many guests are we serving at the wedding?"

    No less than 500 people.

I don't expect any less than 500 people.

    Hello Kariem:

Something has been given. That is known. Any Less than what was given would not have been enough. What was given, was just enough to be sufficient or adequate.

    Example:

"Any Less" speed, and the patient from the accident site would not have gotten to the Emergency Room at the hospital in sufficient time to save their life.
