    There is no difference in meaning. Get in touch with conveys a little less formal meaning, but not enough to distinguish the two.

    I would have to say that "get in touch with" is less formal.

    "contact with" is wrong.
    You contact a person.
    You get in touch with a person.

    They mean the same.
