Do you think 'management' is correctly used here?

Even in his 80s he traveled across the country to ADVISE teachers AND MANAGEMENT people on how to set objectives that develop the best teaching and learning within their schools.

The two parts that 'and' connects should be in the same form, so, the noun 'management' is misused here. The word to replace 'management' should be 'manage'. Do you think so? Thank you.

You are correct that parallel structure is not optimal, but a change for the sake of parallelism might be more awkward than the original. The noun is used as an adjective, and that's okay.

It is perfecty OK. The compound noun is "mangement people". I agree with Randy though. It is not optimal.

I agree with 雲小泉 regarding "management people". The author could have written "he traveled across the country to advise teachers and school managers". But the sentence is correct.
