there's a sentence in an english book.

-she made the decision to get a beige bed spread with chic striped sheets.-
I know bed spread usually means the thing which made of cloth as a cover of a bed.
and the sheets means the thing which usually under the pillow covers the bed.
I can't understand what's "a bed spread with chic striped sheets".

It means that : she made the decision to get a beige bed spread AS WELL AS chic striped sheets.-

They are two separate objects. She choose the bedspread and she choose the chic sheets.

I'm sorry I need more context. Either the bedspread itself is made up of sheets. So the thing under the pillow is a sheet, and then they are using some fancier sheets as a bed spread. (like putting chocolate sauce on chocolate cake). Chic is a French word, that has been adopted into English. It means stylish. And Striped is like a pin striped suit. The design on it, is one of stripes (decorative straight lines).

The important thing is that you know what a bedspread and a bed sheet are. I'm having trouble understanding what this sentence means also. Bad writing exists even amongst native speakers. Bad writing exists, even in GOOD writers. Michael Jordan didn't just make shots, he missed shots too.
