Telling the time - how to say o'clock?
I want to say it is 3 o'clock:
Is 三点钟 correct? Do I need to say 点钟 or is 点 sufficient?

yes, 点 is sufficient. However if what you want to express is 3'o clock, sharp! then you should say: 三点正！
