I'm pretty sure you mean 'that' not 'tah' but your choice of ed/ing endings are fine here.
Adjectives ending with -ed are referring to the SUBjects' feeling whereas adjectives with an -ing ending are referring to an OBJect or situation that caused the feeling.
I am frightened by spiders vs. Spiders are frightening.

The adjective with "ed" as suffix is usually put behind somebody(I/You/He/She/We/They) to express one's feeling, however the adjective with "ing" as suffix is usually put behind something. It is the difference.
