Ms., Miss, and Mrs. -- common usage?

I see "Ms." used mostly in writings on my job. I wonder if "Miss" and "Mrs." are used still very much. If yes, where? What about in UK and Australia?

Ms. is becoming increasingly common. It is never incorrect to use Ms. unless you are introducing a married couple (Mr. and Ms. Smith is awkward). 'Miss' can be seen as mildly insulting in a business or formal setting, because it has implications of inexperience or immaturity.

For women older than about the mid twenties, 'Ms.' is much more prevalent than 'Miss.' And 'Mrs.' is only used if the person is introduced to you as 'Mrs.' or if you have some other reason to know that the woman is married.

Ms is used more frequently nowadays.

The business standard in Australia is "Ms" unless, as Mike pointed out, you already know if it's correct to use "Mrs".
