How do I say "I have to" and "I must" in Spanish?

"I have to write this" >> "Tengo que escribir esto".
"I must write this" >> "Debo escribir esto".
"I must write this" >> "Debo escribir esto".
- I have to go shopping = Tengo que ir de compras
- I have to dance = Tengo que bailar
- I must go to New York = debo ir a New York. El verbo modal "must" lo usamos cuando es una tienes una obligación de hacer algo.
- I have to dance = Tengo que bailar

As you've been told before, there's a difference btw "i have to" and "i must" but we normally translate it the same way and we use "yo tengo que" we harldy ever use "yo debo"
