As you probably already know, neither Russian nor Ukrainian are very popular languages for English natives to study. However, there are a few of us. Simply send polite messages, also make sure to say that you really want to help with Russian/Ukrainian, too. A positive approach and the offer of 50:50 language exchange should soon help you to make new friends.
