How would I say "I have a lot of school work to do"
(school work/homework)
If you can please explain the sentence structure~
Also it's saying it in a negative way, if that changes how it is said.

숙제가 많이 있어요.
(homework a lot of have)
저는 is always omitted when the subject "I" is understood.
The part "to do" is also omitted here because the meaning of "to do" is also understood.
For your reference, if you want to say "I have to do a lot of homework", then you have to use 해요.
숙제를 많이 해야 해요.

나는 ( i ) 숙제를(homework) 많이(a lot of) 해야해요(have to do)
I ( 나는) have (있어요) a lot of ( 많이) schoolwork(숙제가) to do (해야할)
Its different sound but same meaning
Negative way !
Have ( 있어요)----> don't have ( 없어요)
A lot of ( 많이)-----> little bit( 조금)
