    If you are talking, and then someone interrupts you, or, if you finish explaining why you did something that you did, maybe something the other person will be upset by hearing, then they might say, "save it."
    This basically means I don't believe you, or, I don't want to listen to you.
    It's a fairly rude thing to say.
