Hi! Is it correct to write: several experience in the field.
Coud you give me other alternative.
I'm writing a formal letter for a friend of mine.

That is incorrect. You could write "much experience", "substantial experience", or "a lot of experience".
I'd recommend "substantial experience"; it sounds the most professional of the three.
