How to properly use the word 'because' in Korean

Yes, I understand that this question has been asked on multiple occasions yet I still feel that it has not been sufficiently answered.

If you can explain this, could you also please write these examples and explain each individual part of the sentence as best you can:

-I am embarrassed because I forgot my money at home.
-I don't eat bananas because they smell weird.
-I went to the malll because I needed to buy my friend a birthday present.

왜냐하면(because) is used when you have to explain reasons.

-I am embarrassed because I forgot my money at home

-I don't eat bananas because they smell weird.

-I went to the mall because I needed to buy my friend a birthday present.

'because' can be '왜냐하면~' or '~했(하)기 때문에' according to occasions
