When do you say it?
Answers

You would say "I wouldn't dream of such a thing" when something is absurd or ridiculous.
Example:
Someone says: "Would you spend $100,000 on a car?"
You can say: "No, I wouldn't dream of such a thing!"
Girl #1 says: "Hey, how would you like to go out with that guy over there?"
Girl #2 says (if she does not like him): "I wouldn't dream of such a thing!"
