If your language level is high, you will be able to do well, but it does take some specific studying to pass the TOEFL. It's helpful to get a book like Delta's Key to the TOEFL, the ETS Official Guide to the TOEFL, or Barron's TOEFL iBT to study so that you understand what types of questions you'll be asked. You'd need about a B2 level to pass it. It's not as tricky or difficult as some other tests I've seen, but you still need to make an effort. :) I've prepared students for the TOEFL, IELTS and FCE exams.
