1) Same in meaning, but 감사합니다 is even more polite than 고맙습니다.
2) They both mean "Hold on," "Wait a minute" (etc..) But 잠시만 sounds more polite. (잠깐만요 can sound like you're a bit irritated)
3) You're right 륙 is just North Korean. Another example is 노인 (South Korean) and 로인 (North Korean), both of which means an old person.
