Question about alternative for 드렸다
1) I saw this answer to someone's question regarding 께 and 한테.
I talked to the teacher = 선생님께/한테 말씀드렸어.
Could I change it to 선생님께/한테 말씀하셨다?
What's the difference?

As far as I know, 드리다 is a honorific form of 주다. And 주다 can be used as auxiliary verb with other verbs, meaning "to do something for someone", like "맛있는 음식을 사 줄게" (I'll buy you a delicious food).. and 말씀 is a honorifc form of 말, as you know ;)

어제 선생님께서는 말씀을 하셨다 is OK .. 께서는 is honorific topic marker for people, just 께서 can be subject marker or "from" depending on context
어머니께서 주신 선물 = the gift that I got from mother ..
실은, 우리 어머니께서 차를 파시려고 하는데요 = As a matter of fact, my mother wants to sell her car
말씀하시다 is used when "teacher says" something
말씀드리다 is used when you say something to teacher
