    Means = a method or way of doing something
    Eg: They had no means of letting him know that the flight was canceled.

    Mean > Verb = intend to indicate or refer to "I don't know what you mean". / Do you know what I mean?
    Mean >>Adjective<< not generous doesn't want to share things, esp. money
