In genere chi chiama (the caller) non dice /pronto/, ma qualcosa del tipo:
Buongiorno, sono ABC, vorrei parlare con XYZ.
oppure:
Ciao Anna, ...
Buongiorno, sono ABC, vorrei parlare con XYZ.
oppure:
Ciao Anna, ...
