- 바 imperative?

I often hear in dramas a senior expressing a command to someone younger using what sounds like -바 as the ending (for example 가바, which is usually translated as "leave" or "you can leave"). I can't seem to find this grammar point anywhere. 누구가 도울 수 있을까요?
