    Unedited is the opposite of edit and simply means that nothing has been done to change the original content. So in the case of these lectures, I presume they are written transcripts which have not been changed in any way. They show the words exactly as they were spoken by the lecturer.

    Sometimes content is edited to save time or space or to correct mistakes or change something undesirable. For example, a flaw in a photo can be changed (edited) to no longer look bad. When an author writes a book, an editor then reads it to check for errors and give suggestions to improve it.
