there is no difference.you have to say "едім"-when you talk about yourself;"едің"-when you talk to person who do it,for example:Сен менен кітап алып едің;"едік"-when "we" did it.for example:біз бұл терезені сындырып едік

"Мен Қазахстанға барғанмын" is close to "Я ездил в Казахстан". "Мен Қазахстанға барған едім" is close to "Ездил я как-то в Казахстан". These sentences have a little difference in intonation. It is difficult to show differences in Russian and English languages because they don’t have analogs. But I’ll try to describe. The fist variant is more common, the second one is more polite way to began conversation, especially when speaking with boss, respected person. For example you mother asks you severely “Where have you been so long?”, the answer “Мен футбол ойнаған едім” means that you understand your fault and it is possible that you’ll be punished even. And the main thing: The second sentence shows that speaker wants to talk about that more in detail, and there happened something interesting. Great job, Zac. I know Kazakh language is very difficult for English speakers, but you wander me. Good luck.
