When the -다고(요) "quoting" ending is used by itself, without the verbs 하다, 말하다, 듣다, etc., is it right to translate it to "You mean..."?


And as a statement, would it also translate to "I mean...".

우리 셋이 닮았다고요.
I mean that the three of us look alike. (mean = confirm, in this case)
