This is the part of Modern Family script.
C: Every couple years, Mitch and his father go out and enjoy one of these showers.
M: Well, I wouldn't necessarily put it that way. I mean, yes, me and my father enjoy it
because we don't share a lot of the same interests. I never went to sports games with him.
C: Probably because you call them "sports games." Just lose the "sports."
M: Just... just "games."
Why is Cameron supposing to use the word "games" instead of "sports games"?
