stems mulier- infant- infami- fid- fort- Syllables in Latin divide between two separate consonants. One consonant or two consonants sounded together (tr, pl, cr, ...) go with the following syllable. The word quot is 1 syllable, though at least in poetry the final t would start the following syllable. a - mi - ci - ti - a quin - que The - o - do - ra Jup - pi - ter

I can help ya with the second question...I just started learning it quot, amicitia, quinque, Theodora, Juppiter. quot--q+u, these two letter are always stuck to each other..so qu+o+t this is a monosyllabic word amictia : a+mi+ci+ti+a quinque: like quot..quin+que...two syllables Theodora: th may be borrowed from old greek...the+o+do+ra Juppiter : I think it's Ju-ppi-ter, but according to my book, it seems to be like"jup+pi+ter"
