    "Try this." - Subukan mo ito. But to sound natural, you can shorten the word 'ito' and say "Subukan mo 'to." Younger Filipinos now use the English word 'try,' making it "Try mo 'to."

    "Did you try it?" - Sinubukan mo? (Did you TRY it?) Or Sinubukan mo ba? (DID you try it?) Or Sinubukan mo na? (Did you ALREADY try it?) All of these questions are asked if there is already a presumption that you both know what you are talking about.
