I know that I can say;

If I were rich... or If I was rich... But is it the same with "Wish"?

a) I wish I were strong.
b) I wish I was strong.

    Yes, it is the same with "wish." (a) is strictly speaking the grammatically correct sentence (because you use the subjunctive after wish (that) + verb). (b) is not correct, but many native speakers of English don't use the subjunctive in daily conversational speech. So you can say (b), too.
