What does "solutions" mean?

California-based environmental scientists and representatives from environmental consulting firms also attended Governor Brown's speech in Beijing. They say their work is increasingly directed at China. That is because rising air pollution levels in that country have created a market for solutions to the problems.

I think the word "solution" is uncountable but in this sentence, solution"s" appears. Could you tell me what the reason is?

It is possible to have a single solution or multiple solutions to a problem. There might be three solution providers each offering different solutions. Entirely countable. Some integer mathematics problems have infinitely many solutions, and infinity itself may be countably many or uncountable. 老鬼

Hm, I don't know what you are really asking but solutions is a perfect fit to this sentence.
Solution means a means of solving a problem or dealing with a difficult situation
example: "there are no easy solutions to financial and marital problems".

for every problem there is a solution!
