    They are acceptable. From my experience in the U.S., mostly older people would use might there. It's not as common as it used to be. We would generally use could. You could have...or I wish you would have... Or, in a different way, why didn't you...

    They are both fine but very polite/formal. Usually you will hear "you should have told me" or "you should have warned me".
