How do you ask: "How are you"? in korean

I've been hearing a lot of different forms and am unsure on the correct one. Please help.

    I'm trying to find that out too, I think it is 잘지냈어요 (jal jinesseoyo)

     

    You can use both:

    - 어떻게 지내세요?

    - 잘 지내세요?

    but the first is more formal.

    ^_^

    잘지내셨어요. or 잘지냈어요 the first one is more formal^^
