    1. John said that he didn't have to work on All Saint's Day.
    2. Both are fine.
    3. This is fine, but you don't need the question mark at the beginning.
    4. He said that today he went to dinner with my father.
    5. If he started the day before yesterday, he can finish on Tuesday.
    6. Mrs. Hall brought eggs, milk, bread(or a loaf of bread) and butter for breakfast.
    7. What were you doing when I saw you the day before yesterday? I was eating breakfast.
    8. There were 24 boys that didn't bring their books to school.
    9. He said that he could come on September 16(or 16 September if using British English), but he could not bring his wife.
    10. I didn't go to the USA in March, I went in April.

    Hola,
    - Jhon said, he didn´t have to work on saint´s day.

    - What happened to John? I don´t know, but I think he is sick.

    - Will you please turn the light on?

    - Why didn´t he come? He said that today he wanted to have dinner with my father

    - if he started the day before yesterday, he can finished on Tuesday

    - Mrs. Hall bought eggs, milk, bread and butter for breakfast.

En la septima oracion, tienes que recordar cuando utilizar "did" y "were" para preguntar en pasado, did es para preguntar sobre una accion especifica "did you PLAY soccer today?"(jugaste soccer hoy?), were se utiliza para preguntar sobre una accion continua de un sujeto en pasado, "were you playing soccer today?" (estabas jugando soccer hoy?). Por tanto, la oracion correcta seria:
-What were you doing when I saw you the day before yesterday? I was having breakfast.

    - There were 24 boys that didn´t brought their books to school.

    - He said, he could come on September 16th but could not bring his wife

    - I didn’t go to the USA in march, I went in April.
