How is the Korean in the movie Olympus has fallen? Okay, the question is out of curiosity, and not really important. But I lately saw the movie 'Olympus has fallen' in the cinema. It is about a North Korean commando attacking the White House in Washington. Has anybody seen it? For a small part of the movie the actors speak Korean. It's too fast for me to understand though. My question is: How is their pronunciation? Is it typical North Korean accent? Reason for my questioning is that in many movies from the USA where some actor speaks Dutch, it hurts my ears and it sounds completely ridiculous. (Dutch is my native language.) It actually takes away the total focus on the tension of the movie, it's that bad. How is the Korean in American movies? Do you have similar experiences as me when I am hearing Dutch?Added: Oh yeah, I am of course talking about movies with the original sound..! In the Netherlands all movies are always in their original soundtrack with subtitles. Also non English movies, Korean movies too, are never dubbed. There is a sort of cultural thing here, that we MUST hear the original soundtrack in any language.
