    Yes.....but for dont play dumb people are showing disagreement or arguing with the person. Its more to uncover a iie as opposed to telling a persom to stop pretending to be innocent


    Yes, but we don't use that tense for "to space out". If you're spacing out, you're not usually aware enough to tell somebody. You could say "I spaced out" or "he/she is spacing out".

    For "don't play dumb", it's exactly what Fivehole96 explained. "Don't pretend that you don't know."
