함께 and 같이 have same meaning, together(with). But sometimes they could be quiet different. 같이 often used in daily conversation, and 함께 usually used in writings.

같이 can be used for two more people or things
Ex. 친구들과 같이 배워요. Learn together with friends.

함께 used for saying "together at once"
Ex. 가족과 함께 가요. Go together with my family.

    Hope this helps :D
