How does 転がってたんだろうか work in this sentence?

あの日僕が殺した後ずっと屋上に転がってたんだろうか?

I don't understand how this person is using 転がってたんだろうか. Is it a colloquial form?

It is a colloquial form, in a way that it should be ‘転がっていたんだろうか’, and ‘い’ usually drops, when we talk.
It can be put in English like ‘ i wonder if it was laid down on the rooftop after I killed ‘em that day‘’, as a whole.
