Je ne suis pas absolument certaine du sens en espanol...est-ce que c'est une expression idiomatique?

Je pense qu'on pourrait dire ''vivre seul nous coûte la vie''.

Hello Pablin ! I studied Spanish for ages and I think it means :" vivre seul coûte cher . (ou) Vivre seulement est coûteux . " Tell me .

I've just asked to a Spanish teacher and he told me in English the meaning and it means :" La vie coûte cher "
