Resolved questions

Was würde man in einem normalen Gespräch eher sagen?
Dankeeee!:-)

I can't give you the answer in German but I can do it in English so I hope you understand.

"Er trat ins Zimmer" is used when it happened in the past.
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being a very very long time ago and 10 being right now, this sentence is used around 1 to 5.

"Er ist ins Zimmer getreten" This is used when it just happened. Around a 7 or an 8 on the scale.
